Distance: 46 km  (optional start at Unity Rd. & K&P trail 32 km)
Pace: Leisure (14 kph to 19 kph)
Terrain: paved, flat to rolling hills
Difficulty Level: Easy
Bicycle Type, Recommended: road or hybrid
Start Location: Cataraqui Community Centre, near Sydenham Rd. & 401
Start Time: 9:30   (10:00 am start from Unity Rd - please register so we know to meet you)
End Location: Same as start; riders may choose to leave ride in Sydenham if they want to enjoy Canada Day festivities longer than the group.
Estimated End Time: 3PM

Celebrate Canada Day with a moderate or easy ride to Sydenham to take in the festivities! This ride will travel to Sydenham via back roads, ending at the Sydenham Canada Day event at the Point. Get out your red and white colour-themed cycle clothing and other patriotic gear!!  Both rides will meet up in Sydenham for the parade.

The parade leaves the Sydenham Fire hall at 1PM. Our rides will arrive in time for cyclists to visit festivities by the water and get lunch at the all day community bar-b-que before the parade comes by.
