This loop takes us from Tamworth on mostly quiet county roads up to Arden across to Mountain Grove then down past Long Lake to Parham before heading back SW to Tamworth. There are few if any eating establishments en route although you should be able to fill your water bottles in Arden, Mountain Grove and Parham. There's a nice sandy beach with picnic tables right by the road at Long Beach and the water is inviting if you want a dip! Carrying a picnic lunch is highly recommended.

START TIME: 8:30 am
FINISH TIME: approx. 2:00 pm
START PLACE: Tamworth Elementary School parking lot on the right just before entering town on County Rd 4
DISTANCE: 94 km
PACE: mostly moderate (19-24 kph) but faster riders are welcome; we re-group regularly, no one left behind.
