This ride will leave from main parking lot at Parrot's Bay Conservation area, 4977 Bath Road, just west of Amherstview. We will ride along Bath Road to Milhaven where we will catch the ferry over to Amherst Island . NOTE; THE FERRY COSTS $1.5/BICYCLE SO PLEASE BE PREPARED TO COVER YOUR COST. We will leave the parking lot at 10am sharp to ensure we do not miss the 10:30 ferry. Make sure you have plenty of water and a snack -we will find somewhere on the island to pull over for our break.
It is a 4.7km ride from the parking lot to the ferry. It takes approximately 20 minutes to cross.
NOTE;
Passengers will be required to wear a non-medical mask or face covering, during fare collection
NOTE that the majority of the ride on the island is on gravel.
We will target the 1pm return ferry and ride back via Taylor-Kidd Blvd. to County Road 6.
You can find further information about the ferry here: https://www.amherstislandca.com/ferry/#Dock_Locations
