Trail - 2 BurBrook to Verona (34, 46 & 52 km)
K&P and Cataraqui Trail Rides
These rides are for trail riders looking for longer outings on the K&P and Cataraqui trails.
They have riding durations between 2 to 3 hours, with additional time for planned stops along the way.
The trails vary from almost groomed surfaces, to loose gravel, to pot holes to gates and other obstructions.
So riders must be confident they can handle these types of variations.
About bikes, riders should ride bikes that are intended for trails such as: mountain, hybrid and gravel bikes.
Road bikes are not adequate except for riders with exceptional bike handling skills!
Riders are expected to bring the liquid and food supplies they will need for the ride.
Helmets are Mandatory!
About the Ride:
The Route: This out and back ride starts from the K&P trail crossing at Bur Brook Rd (near Cordukes Rd) and reaches Verona with a return distance of about 52 km.
Departure Meeting Locations:
Main Location: K&P crossing at BurBrook Road to Verona - 52 km return trip.
Alternative Location: Unity trail crossing to Verona- 46 km return trip.
Expected Start about 10 minutes after main start time
Alternative Location: Murton Road (at power station) trail crossing to Verona- 34 km return trip
Expected Start about 25 to 30 minutes after main start time
