Fall Night Ride on the K & P in the Dark !
Come experience the K & P Trail in a whole new way!
Meeting at the Invista Centre at 6:00 pm to ride up the K & P Trail to Sydenham and return ~ 52km
Sunset at approx. 4:48 pm
Lights are mandatory (minimum output 400 Lumens)
Remember to charge up your lights the day before!
C category ride, with some flexibility depending on how the group feels.
Clear Safety Glasses Recommended !
Dress accordingly it gets cooler on the return from Sydenham.
Riders are expected to bring liquid and food supplies they will need for the ride.
Riders should be familiar with Ontario's Safe Cycling Guidelines Safe Cycling Guidelines and bring the following items with them on the ride:
- a cell phone, preferably with the "what3words" app installed
- a spare tube, pump and repair kit
- sufficient hydration and nutrition
- health card
- document showing address and emergency contact information
