Catch up with other members, listen to live music provided by Dave McGrath, and enjoy a casual lunch.

$25.00 per person includes a catered lunch by The Catering Company (appetizers, sandwiches, dessert, and non-alcoholic beverages). Cash bar provided.

To confirm the catering, registration and payment by 9:00pm Thursday, August 22 is required. Capacity is limited.

Please note:
  • Payment: Please consider sending an Interac eTransfer by selecting the "Pay Later" button in the payment window (and then send payment from your on-line bank account to treasurer@kingstonveloclub.ca). This is the Club's preferred payment method as we don't incur additional service charges.
  • Registration: As this is a catered event, late registrations and cancellations cannot be accepted.
  • Time: Doors open at 12 noon.
  • Format: This is not a sit-down meal, although some seating will be provided. We encourage you to mingle with your fellow members!
  • Parking: There is plenty on-site. Overflow parking is around the side/back of the building.
  • Entrance: There is another event at the venue on this day. We are not using the main (centre) doors. Access to our event is via the ramp.
  • What to bring: A camping chair (and some sunscreen!) to enjoy the adjacent outdoor space.
  • Rain or Shine: We're hoping for beautiful weather. However, if the Saddle Up Sunday rides are cancelled due to inclement weather, the Summer Social will still proceed, indoors, as planned.
Doghouse Studios is a family-owned event space in Napanee, Ontario. The name reflects the building's history as a major employer in the early 1900s. Incorporated on 10-08-1925 and in operation until 1978, the Ross-Miller Biscuit Company, headed by George Miller, "was a pioneer in the manufacture of food for fur-bearing animals."

After the plant closed, the building was purchased by the Gibbard Furniture Company for use as a warehouse. Gibbard employees affectionately nicknamed it "the Doghouse" as short-hand for distinguishing among the company's various buildings.
