Three Days in the Gatineau
The Gatineau region offers both scenery and hills, and is only 2 1/2 hours from Kingston. The schedule will be as follows:
  • Tuesday Drive up in the morning to Wakefield where the first day's ride will start at 11 am. Check into the hotel afterwards.
  • Wednesday The second day's ride will start at 9:30.
  • Thursday The third day's ride will start at 9 am. We'll drive back to Kingston at the end of the ride.
Accommodation We'll be staying at the Motel Chelsea. Riders will be responsible for booking their own accommodation. I have not reserved a block of rooms. Thus, if you think that you are likely to attend, I strongly recommend that you make your reservation early. See below regarding cancelling or rescheduling.

Meals
Breakfast will be available in the hotel restaurant for those interested.
  • Dinner on the First Day [to be added]
  • Dinner on the Second Day  [to be added]
The Weather and Cancelling or Rescheduling The weather in mid August should be just fine, but if the week before I see some nasty weather on the horizon I will consider cancelling or rescheduling. The cancellation policy of the hotel is 48 hours. However, out of consideration to the hotel, I will try to make any cancellation or rescheduling decision several days before the event.
Safety/Ride Preparation
