About this event

On Sunday, the club rides emphasize a somewhat relaxed approach, with a distance for all four of our major pace groups. These longish rides in the Kingston countryside focus on building endurance, while enjoying the scenery (and leaving the real zippy speeds to other rides during the week). The A and B pace groups tend to ride in a single pace-line format with a target average pace towards the mid-range of their respective pace bands. Riders in the C and D pace groups generally form into smaller loose groups, with regrouping from time-to-time at breaks. In support of the ride leader, we ask participants to look after each other and to make sure that no rider is left on their own.

  NEW D Pace Route!

Routes: We'll start in Sydenham (park at either the Sydenham Library or Point Municipal Park) and head out onto the great cycling roads to the west.

From the Sydenham starting point there is a route for those interested in riding on the local trails. This option does not have a pace rating, so riders will ride the pace they are comfortable with. We ask that participants support the ride leader for the trail rides by looking after each other and making sure that everyone finishes.

This Week the Trail Riders will ride from Sydenham west to Camden East and back. Refreshments at the Cafe or the Gas station in Camden East.
