About this event

Meet in the parking lot at Sydenham Beach. We'll ride west on the Cataraqui Trail and then head north on the K&P just past Harrowsmith to Verona and Food Less Traveled (cash or debit only) for our refreshment. Return trip will be approx. 36kms. Always an option to ride further or turnaround sooner.

If there is an interest we can lunch at Emma's Place (newly opened in place of Lenny's) or swim in Sydenham Lake.

A leisurely weekly ride of 30 to 40km (group consensus) with a coffee/ice cream break in the middle for most rides. As most of our rides are out and back, there will be an option to turn around earlier and shorten the ride.
This ride is ideal for those new to cycling or those getting back in the saddle after a few years away. Most rides will be either on the K&P or Cataraqui Trail. A few rides will feature a trail further afield keeping within an hour and a quarter from Kingston. We will avoid riding on the road. A short portion may require a road to get to refreshment establishment. Pace will be 10 to 18 km/hour (some members may ride a little quicker).

Hope to s
ee you!
