Route
Confirm the route, location and time. Undertake route due diligence, as appropriate, and identify points of concern or interest.

Weather Cancellation
Decision
Make a weather cancellation decision when necessary - this can be made by the Ride Leader, Program Coordinator, or someone else appointed by the Club in accordance with the Weather Policy set out in the
Club Policies
page. Don't hesitate to be conservative in your judgement. Safety must always be the most important consideration.
Event Parameters
Ride Leaders should not change the parameters of a ride without the agreement of the Program Coordinator who scheduled and posted the ride.

Emergency contacts list of all KVC members (or access to it on the KVC website)
Guest/minor waiver form
First-aid kit (small cycling/hiking kits are recommended)
KVC accident report form (or access to it on the KVC website)
