Pre-Ride Meeting Arrive 15 minutes early.

Introductions & Waivers:

• Introduction: Introduce yourself and other leaders.
• Minors/Guests: Ensure riders under 18 years have a guardian. Confirm completed waivers have been submitted for all guests and minors.

Safety Briefing:

• Route Details: Outline the route, rest stops, hazards, and regrouping points.
• Review Safety & Ride Etiquette: Set clear expectations and boundaries.
• Rider Gear: Confirm riders have route, lights, tools, inner tube and your phone number.
• Inform: Ride Leader should be notified if a rider chooses to abandon the group during the ride.

Group Organization:

• Split large groups into manageable sizes based on speed/ability.
• Discuss group-specific rules (e.g., single file, taking turns pulling).
• Perform a final headcount.
• Assign a Sweep if necessary.
  

Ride Start:

• Promptness: Depart on time.
• Order: Faster groups leave first (A, then B, then C).
