The Friends of the K&P and Cataraqui Trail Rides
These rides are for trail riders looking for longer outings on the K&P and Cataraqui trails with riding durations between 2 to 3 hours, with additional time for planned stops along the way.

The trails vary from almost groomed surfaces to loose gravel to pot holes to gates and other obstructions. So riders must be confident they can handle these types of variations.

As far as bikes, riders should have bikes that are intended for trails such as: mountain, hybrid and gravel bikes. Road bikes are not adequate! Helmets are mandatory!

Before registering all riders must read the current KVC guidelines for Addressing COVID-19 which are found in “Documents / Ride Leader Guidelines” on the KVC website. Riders must comply with the current KVC guidelines for Addressing COVID-19. In particular note that:
3. A ride may consist of one or more groups of up to a maximum of 10, each with its own ride leader and sweep, separated by a distance that precludes mixing between groups and demonstrates good optics in the community.

Leadership for the ride will be provided by Laurie Whitby with assistance from Bruce Hopkins, Ed Paul and Mary-Jean McIntyre. Other riders may be assigned supporting roles as needed.

Registration:
• This ride is only open for KVC members.
• Participation on these rides is limited to 20 riders and you must register using the link below. If you do not register, you may not be able to ride with the group.
