The Friday forecast is calling for sunny with a high of 25 - a lovely day for some post lockdown gravel growling! We'll head out along the shores of Upper and Big Rideau Lakes, and then head north up through the Tay Valley in Lanark County. There will be long and short options. This is the event page for the short option. If you wish to register for the long option,

. Depending on our numbers and interests at the start, we may consolidate the groups, or further divide them.
There are no services along the route. Thus, make sure to bring fluids, a lunch and some snacks. You may also want to bring some bug repellant in case you have to make some road side repairs. Riders will be required to comply with Ontario's Stage 1 reopening rules.
We'll meet in Westport at 9:30 am at the Westport Community Arena on Spring Street. Before we head off, we'll need to determine that there are no relevant parking restrictions. On street parking in much of Westport is limited to four hours. For anyone needing a pre-ride coffee, the Cottage Coffee House on Church Street is a great option.
