An informal presentation/discussion for those new to the Velo Club. We will talk about checking out your bike before the ride to ensure its safe to ride, proper fitting of your helmet , adjusting the bike for you personally so you are comfortable and safe, nutrition before and during the ride, communication with other riders in the group through hand signals etc, and general etiquette when riding with others.

Following the discussion we will ride some of the neighbouring streets to reinforce and practice our skills.
