Welcome to the Partners and People at Loose Ends Program.
Is your partner leaving home to cycle without you? Missing a Monday ride? Car Pool with your partner😋
We will either ride the reverse route, or a WR route from a different week. Either ride at the WR pace +0.1 km/h or make sure you have the car keys!
The rides take place every Monday evening from early May to mid September. Rides start at 6:00pm, however to accommodate shorter days towards the end of the program (late August and September), start time may be backed up to 5:30pm and 5:00pm
and distances may be slightly shorter.
R
outes are approximately 40km long and, to provide variety, start at a different location each month.
Sunset is at 7:39 You must have lights, required 30 min before sunset
WR91
Riders should be familiar with
Ontario's Safe Cycling Guidelines
and bring the following items with them on the ride:
- a cell phone, preferably with the "what3words" app installed
- a copy of the ride route (printed or downloaded to a device of their choice)
- a spare tube, pump and repair kit
- sufficient hydration and nutrition
- health card
